Good quality headphones? Tried A50s and Arctis Pros.

Friend recently tried Astro A50s and Steel series arctis pros. Astro A50s keep malfunctioning and troubleshooting / RMA didn't work out. Steel series are good but uncomfortable.

I told my friend to just buy a good headset like AKGs and a standalone mic but he refuses because he doesn't like the mess of cables / inputs.

Basically just wants a headset that can do it all that won't fall apart or have bugs / issues so early on. Is that possible?
