I should probably go see a doctor but I literally can't afford it

A little over a month ago, I got drunk for my birthday. Literally the only time I've gotten drunk in the past year. Well, the next day I had a hangover of course but I also had a strange pain in my left side just below my ribs. It was bruised so I thought I had just run into something the night before and my roommates confirmed this theory as they had heard me run into things.

Problem being, it hasn't went away now more than a month later. It's gotten a lot better, to the point where I mostly barely feel it but it's still always there. I've been trying to ignore it cause I figured there'd be symptoms other than pain by now (which there hasn't been) if it was anything really serious. Plus, I don't have great health insurance, not sure if it'd even cover it if it is anything serious. I also can't really afford the time to take off work or classes for college tho those I'm less worried about tbh. It's the combination of both bad health insurance and the work/classes.

Anyway now today it's back with a super vengeance. The worst it's been since the day after I got drunk. There's been flare ups but nothing like this. I had a kidney stone last year and while it doesn't feel nearly as intense as that, it feels at least a 10% as bad which is still really bad. Kinda just lying in my bed hoping it will go away in a few minutes. The pain's went down a bit but not enough to where I feel comfortable moving yet.

God I hate the healthcare system in America. I'd go if I didn't think it'd bankrupt me.
