I think that ADHD is ruining my life

Seeking Empathy

Almost a year ago I highly suspected that I might have ADHD. I went to see a psychiatrist specialized in ADHD, filled a long quiz, gave him my school reports and answered his qiestions. He told me "I think it's ADHD". He put me on ritalin but I didn't notice any improvement. He then tried to put me on antidepressants but stopped because of side effects. Stopped seeing him since then.

My life is still the same and I don't know what to do. I went to see a therapist that does cognitive behavioral therapy but I only saw her twice for now.

I'm 26 with no job. Sleep at 3am, wake up at 2pm. Seat on the couch almost all day long thinking about doing things without actually doing them. Can't organize my day, can't plan my days in advance, can't take decisions, can't get up to do things, can't force myself to do unpleasant tasks, afraid of rejection, afraid of working and not being able to do anything because of it.

I'm really starting to think it's all my fault, I'm lazy, I'm bad, I make zero efforts, I'm just a useless incompetent incapable and inept person.

I don't know how to change myself and it's ruining my life.
