My personal rating of all the AC games

My personal ranking of all AC games ive played without spoilers:

AC1: 7/10 Gameplay wise is pretty basic and repetitivie. The story itself isnt groundbreaking and the graphics and parkour are outdated. It would be rated lower if not for the fact that the whole franchise is born here and the concept itself of assassins and templars and how it fits into the modern day is so unique.

AC 2: 10/10 My favourite AC by far. The improvements from AC1 are insane, and this game has some of the most memorable characters in the series. Everything from the music to the setting is near perfect. The parkour is a bit dated but considering it came out in 2009 its not too bad.

AC:Brotherhood: 9/10 A wonderfull addition to Ezios story with another great location and increadible music. Although it does not add too much compared to AC2, its basically just kept all the good things of AC2 and added some cool mechanics like the brotherhood recruits.

AC: Revelations: 8/10 Still a great game but not quite as magical as the previous 2 imo. Did not add too many changes, but the new environment is quite unique and interesting. The story is not as memorable as 2 or Brotherhood but the ending is probably one of the best videogame endings of any i have ever played. Also amazing music again.

AC3: 6.5/10 The modern day in this is great up until the last few scenes (we all know what happened). Connor is a pretty boring character, and the game felt like a long ass tutorial. Haytham was really interesting but i cant think of many memorable characters besides that. The location of colonial america is also quite uninteresting to look at but i liked the historcial aspect.

AC4: 8/10 I werent a fan of this when it came out mainly due to it not being a "true assassins creed", but looking back the story was fantastic even if assassins didnt come into it that much. One of the most interesting locations in the franchise and great expoloration. Unfortunately, due to events of the previous game mind you, the modern day begins to become non existant in this game and beyond.

AC Unity: 7/10 I have developed a much better opinion of this game since it released. It released horribly broken and the story and characters are not particulary great or memorable. I hated the leveling system and some other features added. However, the parkour and graphics are still the best to date, and in terms of the historcial side of things this is one of the best. This game meakes you feel most like an assassin out of any in the series, its just a shame the game was broken and had an uninteresting plot. Modern day literally non existant.

AC Syndicate: 5/10 Watered down all of the cool things in Unity like parkour, and somehow had an even more forgetable cast of characters. I cant even remember what happened in this game. I dont think it took itself seriously enough and did not feel new or fresh in any way. London was quite interesting however and i liked the trains and boats they added. Combat was awful.

AC Origins: 8/10 Felt like a breath of fresh air. A much better main protaganist and characters, with an amazing location and exploration. Alothough i didnt like the combat and RPG elements, i felt like this game was a respectable balance between old and new AC. I wish they had made the next few games like this and maybe even made more Bayek games. Playable Modern day is also back but fairly limited. I also dont like Layla much

AC Odyssey 5.5/10: Ignoring the fact that assassins creed shouldnt even be in the title, even if this was a standalone new IP it would not make the game any less bloated and boring. I had fun with the first 5 hours or so and then got bored of the constant mindless grinding. I do not like having mutliple characters and diologue options it doesnt even make sense considering we are in an animus. They have leaned far too much into the fantasy side of things and any sense of mystery the series once had is now gone. Fairly generic story and this is the only game i couldnt finish. Not too sure whats happening in the modern day considering i couldnt finish it but by the looks of what ive seen it just looks rediculous. On the plus side the location and exploration is fantastic, really the only good thing about this game. Enemies are also complete damage sponges.

AC Valhalla: Not going to give it a score considring i havent played it but from the looks of it just looks like Odyssey but somehow even more bloated and boring. I dont really have any intention of buying it.
