How should I practise meditation to develop spiritually?
Spirituality is the science of the spirit. Spirituality is the realization — I am not this body, it will die. I am not the mind. Where is the mind, I cannot find. I'm not the ego that says I — spirituality is realizing that this is a lie. It is the ability to contemplate — who am I and why am I here? And for this, meditation is a good way to start. Meditation is nothing but silence, to still the mind, to contemplate, to introspect, it is to ask the question - when the body will die, and people will say that I passed away, where did I go? Where will I go ultimately, and then what happens to my karma that has not settled? Will I return to earth in a rebirth? What will decide the cycle of birth and death? Spirituality is getting answers and meditation is that state where there is stillness, where we can be in consciousness, awaken the intellect and discriminate to get answers.
