Nest Bedding Horrible Experience

Hey everyone,

After doing some research on this sub I finally ended up going with an Owl latex hybrid mattress from nest bedding. I started my mattress search as I am moving out and wanted to invest in a good long term mattress.

I spoke to their sales representative on the phone and asked him if it’s realistic to get my mattress before I move out (which was 3 weeks out) and he assured me that it is achievable if I order now. I went ahead and placed my order to ensure I get it on time.

I have been checking the tracking after 2 weeks and it seems like nothing has changed snd it still says order accepted for production, and I am getting closer to my move in date. I called their customer service line again and they said that everything still looks like it will arrive on the agreed upon time and it’s nothing to worry about, but they will check in with their operations team just to confirm.

I then receive another email with a new order number and the same items I ordered. It got me thinking, did my first order not go through and they are trying to rectify this?

I then get an email saying our operations team is still checking with the manufacturer, but we are unable to provide a delivery estimate right now and we require your new address so we can set up a plan to deliver your mattress. Extremely frustrating.

I then call their customer service line which was unhelpful and did not try to resolve my issue. When I asked the reason for the delay he simply said “I can’t provide you with that information.” Excuse me? This is extremely shady and it is making me believe that they did indeed mess up on my order and did not even start it until I followed up with them hence them asking for my new address.

This is just my experience with nest bedding which I did not expect to turn this way at all from such a popular brand.

Now that I’m most likely not getting my mattress from nest bedding, anyone has any suggestions for a mattress? I am 6’1 240 lbs mostly side sleeper.

Thanks!
