FYI for non-suicidal visitors

Pinned

This is just a small public service announcement to people visiting this subreddit thinking they can white-knight all of us.

We are suicidal, many of us have been for a long time. It is our own responsibility to try everything to help our situation before deciding to end it all. This has nothing to do with you and you need to let go of your saviour complex.

We've heard it all before a million times. "But there's people out there who love you!" "The world is beautiful!" "It gets better!"

Etcetera, etcetera.

This is a community outside of SaSu where people can discuss these feelings and where, right now mostly, people can prevent eachother from doing more harm than good by discouraging possibly unsuccessful, painful and harmful methods.

There is barely any place where we can talk freely without being moderated on the topic, and it's special. Do not ruin this. Talking about it freely without judgement and unwanted advice is so important.

You can report these posts and this subreddit as much as you want, but know you're doing more harm than good.
