Monthly to Buy List With $800 - (November Edition)

Welcome back to our monthly buy list series! Where we feature two posts for two different budgets ($200/$800), with investment products to pick up based on how the market is looking. For this list we will focus only on sealed! The recommended hold timeframe is 10+ years as always! At the bottom of the post we'll include a link to last months post. We won't focus on any of last month's products either, only what's worth getting now.

Lost Origin Booster Box x1 $130 - We made a post exactly one year after Lost Origin's release date, showing original purchase price of $97.54 before taxes and how boxes are selling $130 now. That's 30% increase in a year. Looking at the Trainer Gallery and which alt arts are truly most coveted from Gen 8, Lost Origin, is the 2nd strongest normal set in SWSH. This means excluding special sets like Celebrations and Crown Zenith. This a set worth owning bundles, ETBs, and Bboxes it's that good imo.

Crown Zenith Elite Trainer Box x2 $100 - Special sets are normally in print about a year, this set released as Gen's rotated so wouldn't be surprised if CZ is already out of print. The PC ETB has over 150+ sales in the past three months on eBay alone, selling for $110+. The gold Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina will always serve as desirable chases, overall the artwork has such variety, it's an incredibly cherished set. This is a last call if you don't already have the position size you'd like.

Gen 9 PC ETB's as They Release x2 $120 - All of the Gen 9 PC ETBs are selling for $75-$95 on the secondary market, with MSRP of $60 they're sold out within days of release now. The supply of Gen 8 and Gen 9 PC ETBs is vastly different, our recent sets are not superior to alt art sets but yet they're all sold out and Gen 8 PC ETBs are still available on PC. Imo these are the least printed sealed product's of Gen 9 imo. If you catch the drop, don't let the opportunity go to waste.

151 Bundles and ETBs x4 $300 - The best set of the year without a doubt is 151, if you can find bundles in the wild for MSRP it's an easy no-brainer to pick these up to hold long term. You'll get a much better cost basis than online by finding these bundles if possible. ETBs you can already order online for $47. If you decide to skip English and just buy JPN booster boxes, it's worth waiting as Mercari prices are slowly dropping now to $18k yen from $20k-21k yen few months ago.

Vstar Universe Booster Box x2 $200 - There was a poll along time ago asking which set ppl liked better Vmax Climax or Vstar Universe, the results were 66 votes for VC vs. VU with 227 votes. Each year there's more new Japanese language collectors, VU released when JPN was far more popular than VC, and 151 released when JPN was even more popular than VU. Aside from insane popularity, this set just had its final reprint which everyone was talking about. It's in very good deal territory right now.

This is a concentrated list of what consider to be the best of the best looking at price points, age, and investment potential long term. We double backed to Gen 8 for what are the best current deals, we're going after what's most limited from Gen 9, hunting 151 or the best set released this year, and picking up last year's high class set from Japan.
