Why My 2017 MacBook Pro Excels in Windows Performance Compared to macOS

Help

I'm using a MacBook Pro 13-inch from 2017, specifically the non-touch bar version. I've been facing some performance issues with this machine, and it has become increasingly frustrating to use. One major problem is that the fan kicks into overdrive whenever I try to run more than one app simultaneously, making it quite noisy and distracting.

The sluggishness started when I upgraded to macOS Mojave, and it's only worsened with the latest macOS Ventura. However, what's surprising is that when I switch over to Windows 11 via Bootcamp, my MacBook Pro runs incredibly fast and smooth. It's a stark contrast to the sluggish performance I experience on macOS. There are no fan issues, and apps open instantly on Windows 11.

While I have a preference for macOS and its features, I find myself increasingly using Windows bootcamp to get my work done efficiently without any performance-related frustrations. It's a bit of a disappointment that my MacBook Pro doesn't seem to handle macOS as well as I'd hoped.

If you have any suggestions or solutions to improve the performance on macOS, I would greatly appreciate them, as I'd prefer to use my MacBook with macOS for the majority of my tasks.
