Can I increase my Social Security amount?

Okay, so I came to a professional career later in life. Was a screenwriter for a long time and then transitioned into tech writing.

I checked my Social Security estimated payment and it was pretty low. Being a creative I've had years of like no income, years of a lot of income. Now that I have a stable career, if I put time into this, will that estimated payment go up?
