Question about AK finishes and how to research them

I have a Polish parts kit from 1969 that was damaged in a fire and I was curious about what the original finish would be. Most all imports I see are blued but I believe I've seen Century Arms and such ones that are parkerized. And all the 80% recievers I see are parkerized as well.

I was just wondering if there was a resource that I could use to look up what original factory finishes were for which countries or factories?

I just started parkerizing and am trying to get into rust bluing. Would it be sacrilege to parkerize a polish circle 11?
