Kit: HGUC RGM-79[G] GM Ground Type

Series: Mobile Suit Gundam: 08th MS Team

Lore:

An early prototype of the Earth Federation's mobile suit mass production project & a simplified version of the Gundam Ground Type. Developed before the RX-78 Gundam's data was recovered, it was only able to operate on earth with its internal parts all tuned for ground combat. It was also equipped with Luna Titanium armor, causing its mobility, maneuverability & general performance surpass the later RGM-79 GM. It is said that it's performance under gravity even rivals that of the RX-78.

It was only produced in limited numbers due to it being expensive to produce but it was important in laying the framework for the EFF's mobile suit production. It's basic structure of it's head was later inherited by the RGM-79 GM, becoming the iconic face of the Federation's mass production mobile suits.

Kit Review:

This kit was actually the base kit for 2018's HGUC Gundam Ground Type & basically one of the best looking kits along with its great posability. Accessories provided are generous, with machine gun, Bazooka, net Launcher, beam sabers & shield. It is also compatible with the Gundam Ground Type's backpack & equipment. Good kit, recommended for beginners, GM & 08th MS Team fans.
