Is it worth adding a DDJ-XP1/2 to a XDJ-1000 MK2 setup?
Hi there! I currently own 3 XDJ-1000 MK2s + DJM-900 NXS2 and even though I love my setup, I miss the lack of physical buttons. It's something that keeps coming back in my head, but it never truly justified having to spend 1k more per player to upgrade to CDJ-2000 NXS2s (price right now on these are crazy). So, I've considered adding a DDJ-XP1/2 in standalone mode instead (almost seems like a hidden secret), but I'm not sure how well it truly integrates and feel. Could anyone that had this setup share his personal experience with me? I would mainly be using it for hot cues and beat jump, but I'm scared I won't be using it as much given the off-deck location (vs the touchscreens). Is it a worthy add-on for people who prefer physical buttons, or does it kinda feel patchy / "try hard"? Cheers!
