simdjson and profile function calls with GCC

I recently tried to use a feature of GNU GCC that can be of some help both for tracing and for profiling. It’s the following option (from its GNU GCC Manual section) -finstrument-functions, generate instrumentation calls for entry and exit to functions. Unfortuantly, I have problem with simdjson lib, when the lib is linked to my project the instrumentation almost does not work, only some functions before entering the main function. Is there anyone facing the same problem? Thanks
