Data vs Cybersec

Hi all!

Currently studying an ICT degree, later in the degree I will have to choose an advanced minor, which contains 6 or so units. My two options are cybersecurity and data.

Cybersec seems like a safe bet employment wise but I’m not sure if I’ll enjoy it, data seems a bit more interesting since it includes a bit of focus on AI too, but aside from the AI potential for future I’m not sure if it’s as lucrative with opportunities as cybersecurity is.

Does anyone have any opinions on which would be the better pick? Based in Australia.
