Snow Chains on a Minivan?

I am looking for a good option for dealing with slick icy roads in my neighborhood this winter. We are new to our neighborhood and some of our neighbors say that if it snows, we probably won't be able to make it up the 1/4 mile hill that leads to our house in a minivan. I was wondering if anyone has experience with snow chains on a their Odyssey and if I should buy some.
