Will I be treated differently as an adult who is missing two teeth?

Hi I’m sorry if this isn’t the right sub for this. I’m about to have my upper canine baby teeth extracted and have two empty spaces for a few months before I start braces treatment. Will I be treated differently as an adult with two missing teeth? I am worried because I will also be looking for a new job during this time and worried about being rejected due to my looks. Thanks
