Feeding only dry food

I currently feed my cats 1 can of wet food each a day and leave dry food out for them all day. I have two cats that are just over a year old and one 7-month-old kitten.

I’m in a bit of a financial bind right now and am wondering how bad it would be to feed them only dry food for a couple of months until my situation gets better. I know that many people only feed their cats dry food but I always assumed that was only adult cats and it’s better for kittens/young cats to have wet food. My cats do have access to a water fountain and drink plenty of water.

Looking for advice on whether this should be okay for my cats considering their age. Thank you!
