Got a call from a CVS manager offering me a job, and I never got the offer letter. When I tried to reach out to them via text (as they allowed prior) I notice the texts were no longer going through.

I had applied to a CVS by my house in October for a job, and a few weeks later I got a call from a manager offering a position after having a conversation about my experience and availability over the phone. The manager said it may take a few days for me to get the offer letter. I waited an entire week to get the offer letter and I got nothing. The CVS manager called me the next week to tell me how there was a communication error and that her location actually wasn’t hiring and that she was gonna offer me a job at a different CVS location by my house that was hiring. she said I would receive the offer letter within a few days. Now, It has been days, and I still have nothing. I tried to text the manager about this and my texts stopped going through. I feel like she blocked me.

Has this happened to anyone else? I feel completely scammed.
