Volume V was one of the best LITG volumes that I have ever played. I'm surprised how much fun I had.
An attractive female love interest with a great personality ✔️
Proper drama with the side couples that feels realistic and doesn't ruin the characters ✔️
MC's actions have consequences ✔️
I can pick the gender of MC's LI ✔️
Branching ✔️
The OG girl is an interesting antagonist and a worthy rival. It helps that Willow is an eye candy ✔️
We have an option to be in a love triangle with two girls. ✔️ I hope that will open the door to more gender options for MC and our LIs in future seasons.
Evan and Travis are not going to annoying the hell out of me for the rest ofthe season. ✔️
Things could have been better, but I already have more control over the story than I did in S6 and S5. ✔️
Bonnie's sprite remains the most horrible character art that I have ever laid my eyes on ❌ but Vicky's route is worth it.
No option to pick MC's card, but the gems scenes were worth the money as they let us customize our MC's personality. ❌✔️
I actually ship Bonnie and Travis. I think they'd be a cute couple if she gives him a chance. ✔️
Bonnie and Travis are probably not going to be as popular as the other LIs, but I think that actually works in Fusebox's favor. It's an opportunity to try out different routes without feeling like you've already played all scenes the first time around. It makes the season more replayable for bi/pan players. You could have Evan as a secondary LI in one gameplay and Vicky in another without feeling like you have already seen it all since their routes don't overlap in the love triangle storyline. It's also a way for gay girls to focus on the female LIs. ✔️
