Excessive sarcasm

Hey all,

Wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how to go about excessive use of sarcasm in my (8yr old) client. Sometimes adults will try to speak to him and expect a genuine response, but are usually met with dry humor (sarcasm) or “i’m just kidding” after saying something slightly condescending.

It is never used to bully or harass siblings or adults, so my BCBA has not set a target goal/behavior plan for it yet, but probably will soon since it seems to be getting more excessive day by day

Any suggestions/takes?
