Tau Sept and farsight

I'm planning on collecting tau. And the hardest choose is figuring out whether I want to paint them red for the enclaves and get a farsight (and since I'm getting the combat patrol) simply put aside the ethereal. Or painting the tau the orange brown color and use the thereals. I can't chose between the two.
