FN Crew question

Hey everyone, I have a question about the Fortnite Crew subscription. I'm thinking of subscribing for a month to get the new Hybrid skin and then cancelling to pay 11.99 euros to get the current month's pack. In the FAQ of FN they say " Even after canceling, your membership will remain active until your current billing period ends." Does this mean I'll get charged 11.99 next month as well, or am I good to go for a one-time purchase just for the current pack?
