Eureka Dunes

Planning on taking a trip to Eureka dunes with my 4runner in a week. The last time I went I took 168 from big pine to Death Valley road east until I hit south eureka road. However, Death Valley road appears closed on google maps and Inyo county website shows it’s closed due to floods/road damage. Alternative route I was thinking of taking is 168 east from big pine to Oasis California, then heading southeast on eureka valley road to get to south eureka road. Inyo county website states north eureka road is open “from 168-paved section only” but unsure how much of the road that is.

Has anyone recently made the trip that can report road conditions? Thanks!
