Rule Explanation

The boys and I play AoS semi regularly, but have this issue where we think we have the rules down, but someone learns something after game days. Just looking for clarification. We were told from a friend that the players go one after the other. Player 1 would move the army first then player 2 would move after, followed by the 1st army Shooting then the 2nd army. Then the 1st army would charge followed by the 2nd army. After watching a BR I noticed the 2nd army did not move after the 1st army, they often clip Movement for time and I never noticed before.

So here is the rundown of how a Round should go?

Player 1 starts: Hero phase Player 2 can unbind attempted spells Player 1 Movement Player 1 Shooting Player 1 Charging Combat phase, alternating activating units Battle Shock for both armies

Player 2 Hero Phase Player 1 can unbind attempted spells Player 2 Movment Player 2 Shooting Player 2 Charging Combat phase Battle Shock
