It’s always so much and it never stops. I need advice please, I’m really hurting (contains cursing)
So I’m 22, a senior in college, and have been diagnosed since the 3rd grade. I transferred to this college two years ago and the workload is just unbearable. Every semester I’ve been struggling, and I’m doing better now than others (thankfully), but I think I’ve hit a wall.
I shit you not, for the last 5 weeks I have been working on school nonstop. I even had to quit my job. And yes, I had a few days where I totally crashed (okay maybe more than a few), but I literally could not help it, I was an anxious, overworked, and emotionally drained mess and honestly I deserved/needed a break. Anyways, now I’m late on so many assignments, had to push back two tests, and am worried I’m just royally fucking up. My workload is gonna get even heavier soon too.
Now to be proactive: I’ve been told to spread my work out and do a little here and there, but that doesn’t work for me. I need a large iced coffee from dunkin, 30 mg of vyvanse and a fully charged vape to get started lmao and if I stop it’s sooo hard to go back. It’s fucking ridiculous. Next, I can’t skip anymore classes to give myself more time, and my workload is just gonna increase from here. Also that’s definitely not helping me in the long run. Not to mention I still have an essay and four big assignments to catch up on. I make plans for work too, but lately I’m feeling so drained it’s hard to get started when I need to.
PLEASE, I know this was a lot but I need all the help I can get. I’m really so desperate, this is a call for help which is hard for me to do. At the very least, thank you for reading. And if you’re in the same boat, hopefully we can quickly find a way through this.
Side-note: for my major, I have to do at least 4 more years of schooling to be able to do anything with it, so, yeah. I’m panicking.
