ToTK Save files are blank after back up

So I accidentally deleted my save folder for ToTK. Fortunately I have two back up save files.

If I place the older back up in the save file folder, it shows me all the saves (manual and autosaves) and I can load/play it just fine.

If I use the more recent one (by about 10 or so hours), when I hit continue, it shows me all save slots are blank.

I tried to load the recent back up in Ryujinx and it's also doing the same thing.

Is there anyway I can fix this? Redoing 10 hours of quests and shrines and general exploring is not so appealing.
