Does anyone know how long it takes for an extrusion to be eaten away by white blood cells?

Mine was about 1.5cm³, 1.7cm on the longest axis.

How long am I looking at for this thing to go away? It's been a year and the pain has come back. I'm being refused surgery (yay Canada).
