Not an STD but close enough.

This happened a few months ago. I'm not really a social butterfly... that is despite my job as a waiter speaking to customers everyday.

I struggle alot with relationships, my longest relationship was literally 6 months. My thing was normally just one night stands and casual relationships.

I guess the combination of not having lots of money and the fact that I'm socially awkward dispite my size( I'm 6ft6 and 230lbs) turns women off when we get deep into a relationship.

It was my offday, a Saturday non the less which was very rare if you work in the restaurant industry. I was planning on sleeping till 12 hit the gym at 3 and play video games the night away.

While playing live fifa squad my friend who was in the lobby was spamming messages for us to go grab beers. Me being the social tortoise I am was trying to find an excuse but I had nothing.

Eventually we went to the bar to watch real soccer. In about 20 minutes, we got women hitting on us. (Muscular guy perks but remember how socially awkward I am.) That day we all took a girl home with me somehow managing to keep a conversation with a cute african american chick ,lets call her Nadia for the sake of the story.

We had sex that night. My first time without a condom. I found out she was a screamer, she like to scratch and bite during sex. In fact she bit me so hard that she drew blood on my neck.

A week later, I'm working and feeling tired and my neck felt heavy. I have a close relationship with my customers and all were asking if I was alright eventually one of the customer call the manager and tells her to send me home because there was something seriously wrong with me.

The manager sent me home and I went to the doctor. I told him I have pain in my neck. He seated me on the bed and did and exam his eyes were big. He told me he would have to referred me to the hospital because that does not look good.

I went to the hospital and the first doctor stuck a needle in and very little pus came out and then sent me for a xray. He diagnosed me with a lymphoma or something and gave me strong antibiotics and painkillers.

Well I thought it might heal in the coming weeks and dispite feeling like a zombie, I decided to go back to work, after all I had to pay for the Medications somehow.

After three weeks the pain became almost unbearable. Eventually I found myself begging my colleagues to work my shifts because I was over tired( not what I told them. )

I call Nadia back and told her that her bite cause extreme pain in my neck and she told me to come over probably thinking it was a booty call. Anyway I went her house and she froze at the sight of the large lump on my neck.

She drove me to her mother who was a doctor. Her mother like the other doctor stuck an needle in my neck but this time drew a full syringe of pus.

She sent me to the hospital and I got in quick because of her. I had surgery that day, they drain 350ml of pus out of my neck and something about subcutaneous tissue. They told me the would leave the wound open because an abscess will continue to drain after surgery.

I woke up during visiting hours after the surgery high on morphine. Nadia, Nadia's mom and My mom were at my bedside. Mom asked me if this was my new girlfriend and I began to blush. Then she asked me in my mother tongue "Do you knew why this happened." Immediately I blushed even more because I know what she was gonna say. (In my mother tongue) " Because you didn't wear a condom." I was embarrassed I don't know how she could have possibly guessed.

After that Nadia and I went on a few proper dates and we are currently dating to this day.
