Hey all, I hope Halloween was fun for everyone last night!

My name is Matt, basically I'm the finance manager for a large auto group on the island that has just opened a new branch in Victoria near Tillicum/Burnside. We're called VI Drives, and our parent company is LAG Auto which is comprised of about 17 dealerships across BC and the prairies. VI Drives is the section that focuses entirely on Pre-Owned, and we have access to the inventory of every dealership under our umbrella, which is about 1000 used vehicles at any given time.

A big thing with us is trying to educate people a bit about their credit and whether we can do anything or offer advice to benefit them. Most people don't understand how credit scores or credit bureaus work, which isn't surprising considering they never bothered to teach us about them in school. So we like to go through your Equifax report with you step by step, show you any things from your past that may be damaging your credit and what could be done to fix them. Yes, of course we want to sell vehicles, but we really really want people to walk (or drive) away feeling like we've given them valuable information to help them in the future, whether they purchase with us or not.
