Insanity

Do you not think it is complete insanity the fact that you (speaking from personal experience about 20 minutes ago) that you can completely forget about all the troubles, debts, lies, mental torture that gambling has caused you and you still walk into that betting shop / casino expecting a different outcome to the one you’ve tried 1000+ times.

You know you will chase it till you end with nothing as you are never happy with the amount you win and more. You can’t accept the loss so you chase and chase that win till you end up with sweet f*ck all.

Gambling has caused me all of the above, probably the only thing that’s ever destroyed my life single handily and yet I have still walked into a bookmakers today and went and lost £250 after walking in to put a £10 football bet on. The sooner you accept that this thing ain’t for you and your as good as allergic to it will be the only time you ever win.

Keep going. I will be. If we lived again I might give up, but believe it or not we don’t. Don’t let this fucking disease / addiction take your life from you. Because believe me it will. Keep going.
