Do students who have done IB in highschool do better at uoft than non IB?
Basically what the title says, I’m a first year life sciences student who has failed bio, chem, and physics midterms 🥲(doing good on labs and assignments though). I talked to people who got the grade in 90s or 80s and all of them have one thing in common, that they were in the IB program. I went to a public highschool (no IB program) and got above 90s as my final grades. Honestly, I didn’t know much about the IB program in highschool or the fact that students do better uni if they’ve done IB; if I did I would’ve done it then. Now in uni I just feel behind and dumb and kinda guilty that I didn’t do IB program. Are there any people who are struggling and were in the IB program? I’m so insecure to write midterms November and it’s like idk how to boost my grades. I feel like a failure.
