first time growing shrooms

I'm thinking of buying a ThisPot mini mushroom grow kit to try out mushroom growing for my first time, I've chosen the golden teacher as my spores as I've heard they're recommended for beginners.

Does anyone have any tips for growing?
What should I buy to help aid the process or is it not needed?
All tips will be read and hopefully I can grow myself some mushies.

Thanks.
