Cymbalta prescribed to lower blood pressure

My doctor just put me on Cymbalta in an attempt to lower my BP. She thinks that because I'm an otherwise healthy, normal weight 41 year old woman that my high BP might be from my anxiety. I'm game to try anything to get my BP down, but when I started researching Cymbalta's side effects I kept seeing high BP as one of them. This seems really counter intuitive to me. Has anyone else taken this medication and seen their high BP go down?
