I have never played WoW. Should I?

My family has always been poor and because of that we have never been able to afford expensive things like computers. I have always wanted to play WoW but never really been able to. I'm a big fan of the story and the lore and I watch video after video om YouTube, I know a lot about the game and it's history especially the bad side of it. After years of working I was finally able to afford a pretty decent pc, one that is more then capable of playing WoW and I was wondering if I should actually get into it or not.
