57 M chest pain, increased creatinine levels and hematuria in urine

Physician Responded

My dad (57m), started having chest pain that radiated to his left underarm and to his upper back. No other symptoms but took him to the ER because I was scared it was a heart attack. He had an ECG and everything came out normal. Chest X ray was clear. Based on blood tests, his creatinine levels were elevated (I don’t know the exact amount but the doctor told us it wasn’t a huge increase), CRP slightly increased and hematuria was found in his urine. He will be seeing a nephrologist next week but just wondering what this could be as I am very anxious about it.

He has no other medical conditions, and does not smoke, drinks socially (less than 5 times a month)
