STIHL MSA 300

Hi all. I'm interested in the STIHL MSA 300, 20" bar w/ AP 500 S. This seems like the best option currently as I live in an apartment. Storing a chainsaw inside with even trace amounts of gas concerns me. If the chainsaw goes unused for a fair bit of time, I'd worry about the gas and mainly the carb going downhill.

The goal is that it would provide a solid 30-40 minutes of breaking down logs into bowl blanks for woodturning. No plans of taking down trees. But I'd also like to see this machine have a solid lifetime. 10 years would be great.

It seems the 300 is on quite the backorder most places. While there's plenty of time for decision making, I was wondering if you folks have experience with this model. Thanks!
