Adhd testing in Gainesville?

I’m a UF student (18F) and I wanted to know what would be the steps for getting tested for adhd either on/off campus. I’ve been thinking about it for a while now and I’ve been pretty scared to go and ask for help because I don’t want it to get back to my parents. I am thinking about making a list of things I’ve noticed I do that correlates to adhd symptoms in women but I’m not sure how else to proceed. Is writing things down helpful? Or should I just say I wanted to get tested? Has any uf students gone through this process? Is it better to go through the school or try other places?
