Practice Guidance Help

General Discussion

If you live anywhere north of Phoenix, you have a "golf season" instead if it just being year round. Where I'm at, the time has come where the days of practice are going to be indoors mostly.

I have the privilege of having 24 hour access to an indoor facility, and I put in a ton of hours last year there.

That being said, I started this gold season at a 14 HCP, and have worked it down to a 9 HCP. My biggest issues stem from keeping the ball in play off the tee with driver (hence why I hit 3 wood mostly off the tee), and I tend to just make dumb mistakes when I lose focus.

All that to say, I am going to focus HEAVILY on 150 yards in and off the tee this winter. I figured that if I want more birdie opportunities, gotta put the ball closer to the hole. If I want LESS blow up holes, I need to keep the ball in play... obviously.

Does anyone have favorite drills, or focuses or feels or anything for either of those that I can experiment with in my late night sessions? I have distance, not worried about that, just trying to gain more consistency!
