Women who frequent record stores or locations like Vintage Stock, is it acceptable for a man to strike up a conversation about your most likely shared interest and/or flirt with you?

This is all under the assumption that the man stops the second you ask him to.

I ask because I don't have much luck on dating sites, and I can't go to bars, so these kinds of places are probably my best shot and finding a woman willing to entertain the idea of going out with me, because I also frequent a lot of these places.
