Contacting recruiter on LinkedIn

I hope everyone is doing well. I have a question about reaching out to recruiters on LinkedIn. I recently graduated and am actively seeking entry-level positions in my field. However, there aren't many opportunities available, and I've faced rejections thus far. I'm considering reaching out to recruiters from the companies I'm interested in working for.

My main query is whether it's advisable to contact a recruiter when there are no advertised job openings. I'm interested in inquiring about potential future openings within the relevant team or any unadvertised positions that might align with my skills and qualifications. What are your thoughts on this approach?
