Fan game issues

Today I tried playing a number of Pokemon fan games (Xenoverse, uranium, Insurgence, etc) with Insurgence and Uranium being weirdly laggy even though I've tried all the things I can fine relating to solving this issue, its only these two games while Xenoverse and Fusion run perfectly fine. Would anyone happen to have an idea of how to fix this and what the issue is?
