M3 vs M2 vs M1

Long story short I’ve been looking to upgrade since m1 but put that money into a home PC because I could get so much more power for the same amount of money, BUT IM TIRED of not having a laptop.

I only ever had MacBook pros, and the M1s were so good from reviews. Hopefully with M3 it will drive down the m1 pros or M1 Pro max in price even further.

With this being said do we think the m1s are still more than serviceable for up to 3-4 years , and how would I find the best deals.

I run DaVinci resolve and Adobe creator apps and my biggest power and ram draws.
