Subreddit dedicated to support.
Hello dads! I'm sure we've all noticed recently the influx of posts regarding marital problems, mental health and other difficult topics. These seem to always end up being controversial and conversations always arise as to their place within daddit.
While I initially supported those posts on here, I feel there is something to be said about the atmosphere they can create within a community. This community is primarily about accomplishments, discussing parenting techniques, sharing stories etc and it can be difficult for some to post their problems in between pictures of smiling kids and a post about a toddlers first steps. But the fact is we as fathers do need to support each other and there really isn't anywhere besides daddit that does it so well.
So in an attempt to give each part of fatherhood it's place of discussion I have created r/DadDialogues. This subreddit will be dedicated to support, but posting will be open to the public as I believe it isn't just dads that need help with dads. As with any support group, please be respectful and constructive.
