Traveling in the Plane of Fire

Hi y'all! So my players are going to be heading to the Elemental Plane of Fire soon and I wanted to get some ideas on how to make not only the atmosphere of the plane feel brutal, but wanted to include some cool points of interest.

I've already considered making it a requirement to have fire resistance in order to not immediately burst into flames. And fire immunity will be required should they decide to travel further into the plane. Things like breathing I'm trying to figure out and simply the traveling from area to area I'd like to make a challenge.

Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated :)
