I currently have a fractal design define r5 case with my current pc. Bought a new case Corsair 4000D airflow for my new pc. Do I transfer my old pc to the corsair 4000d or just build my new pc using the 4000d? New GPU is 7900xt.
Current pc: Geforce 1060 6gb + intel i5 8600k + Gigabyte Z370P D3 ATX LGA1151. Bought fractal design refine r5 case for ~$120 in 2018.
New pc: AMD 7900-XT 20gb + Intel i7 14700k + Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite Max. Bought Corsair 4000d airflow for $100.
Think GPU clearance is fine (says max clearance 360mm, GPU length is 320mm. Just that fractal is a longer case, without HDD bay length of GPU can be 440mm, which I would have to part remove anyway to fit GPU longer than 310mm (full cases comparison here).
Has anyone had any issues with a longer GPU and airflow with the Corsair 4000 Airflow? Should I just sell old PC and fractal case and keep the newer corsair case with new pc? Thanks
