How often do y’all call plays?

I have extremely bad habits from madden where I call one or two plays that work well. Lately I’ve notice the AI responding and changing their defensive attitudes to counter my plays. Am I just hallucinating or is this actually happening? For context I believe the teams I’m playing against are running almost exclusively Zone now against me dispite no player interference at all. It’s bizarre and amazing.
