Dig Octa running WLED 0.14 unable to use LED 6 or 8. Error "pins... can't be used"

I have a brand new Dig-Octa that I just plugged in and set the Ethernet type to "Dig-Octa" and installed WLED 0.14 from the QuinLED website (https://install.quinled.info/dig-octa/download.php).

After WLED 0.14 was installed I verified that Ethernet was still set to "Dig-Octa", and it was.

Ethernet Type Settings

When I go to: Settings > LED Preferences - I notice channels 6 and 8 are not set:

Channel 6 and 8 unset

Using the pinout guide for the Dig-Octa:

Brainboard-32-8L Pinout Guide

Source: https://quinled.info/quinled-dig-octa-brainboard-32-8l-pinout-guide/

It says I should be using GPIO 5 for channel (LED6) and GPIO 13 for channel (LED8), however when I set those settings and click on save I get an error that says:

"Sorry, pins [6,7,8,9,10,11,24,28,29,30,31,37,38,21,19,22,25,26,27,23,18,17,32,13,34,33] can't be used."

Pins can't be used

What can I do to resolve this issue or is this a bug in WLED 0.14 or the firmware from QuinLED?

Thanks!

Is pin 13 already in use, e.g. for button/IR/relay GPIOs?

Maybe check Config -> Usermods as well.

Or try 0.13.x.

I'm just guessing. I've not used a Dig-Octa before.

We do recommend USB flashing when going from WLED v0.13 to WLED v0.14 or doing a factory reset once you've done a Ota upgrade. Either should clear up these issues.

P.s. Did you flash the version with the temperature sensor usermod included? Then LED8 can't be used since it's shared with the I2C line.
