How do I mirror my Samsung Galaxy M20 to my monitor if the screen or touchscreen doesn't work?

Open | Phone

Hey everyone. I have a Samsung Galaxy M20 which a few months ago it's screen broke in a fall and now the only thing there is on the screen are dead pixels and lines. After that incident I bought another phone but I was wondering how could I mirror my old broken phone? I already have an USB-C to HDMI adapter, and I have actually mirrored the phone to my monitor before it broke. However now the screen and digitizer don't work. I don't even know if the phone's starting up correctly or if it had a software issue because my screen is really broken. It's nothing too important. Just wanted to see some photos I had saved on it and retrieve them. Whenever I plugged it in nothing happens. Im not sure if you had to confirm to mirror it or something like that, but it isn't doing anything.

Any help would be appreciated!

Try this

Get a usb adapter so you can plug in a usb mouse into the phone, youll get a cursor on the screen.

Use the mouse to connect a bluetooth mouse, unplug the wired mouse.

Plug in your hdmi adapter.
