Need help with a manual nightwalker lens is all over the place and washes out blues and overexposes everything

I got my first manual lens 35mm Nightwalker and when I'm using it its incredibly overexposed where I have to manually under exposed by 4 stops vital completely destroys the shadow detail and highlights, the only setting that automatically adjusts the exposer is manual and not any of the custom setting I have an X-S20 I bought a month ago. Can anybody please help me, thanks
